Summary: Meilin is upset over dying and seeks Syaoran for comfort.

Xiao Lang jumped when he heard her calling for him through the door and hurried to answer it. He'd been waiting for her but that was so sudden and more urgent than he'd been expecting.

"Meilin," He said, noticing that she'd been crying. He knew she was scared, everyone was to some extent, but he didn't think she was that shaken.

The door opened and Meilin looked up, looking upset. "Syao--" Meilin started to say, but cut herself off by throwing herself at her cousin, arms wrapping around him tightly. "I was so scared," she whimpered, shaking against him.

Ying Fa appeared on the doorway of her room, green eyes looking at the newcomer worriedly. "M-Meilin-chan?" She started to walk towards her, but hesitated, especially when Meilin threw herself at Xiao Lang. She must be really scared. In the end, the Card Mistress moved forward to stand beside her husband, but made no move to touch the other girl or say anything more, just carefully watching her.

Oh boy, Xiao Lang didn't know what to do. It had been so long since his cousin had hugged him or even tried to touch him. He just froze when she threw herself at him. He couldn't push her away, he worried about her and he did care, but he also couldn't hold her.

He glanced over at Ying Fa when she appeared next to him. "I-I know." He tried to sound reassuring and gentle and not betray how uncomfortable this was making him. "...You're safe now."
