Summary: Maria wants to see her boyfriend. The problem is that Albel isn't her boyfriend anymore.
Warnings: This is going to get awkward and angsty whether he tells her about Sheifa or not.

Albel sat on the couch in the living room, his head in his hands. Sheifa had left a little while ago for Selphie's place - probably anticipating that something like this would happen. He'd slipped his ring off and hid it in his bedroom; he had no intention of letting Maria in there.
This was a disaster. Within the span of a few weeks, his worst enemy had shown up claiming to control him, he'd gotten married to the love of his life, every psychic, fortuneteller, and prescient in the compound had started foretelling doom and destruction, and now the woman who had no reason to know that she was his ex-girlfriend had arrived.
He'd have to tell her eventually, of course. But Sheifa's advice had been good; springing it on her right away was probably a bad idea. Still... How was he going to tell Maria that he was married now?
