Summary: Maria wants to see her boyfriend. The problem is that Albel isn't her boyfriend anymore.

Fourth floor of the apartment building closest to the north wall. Albel's apartment wasn't at all hard to find. After a few minutes of wandering around, anyway, which Maria didn't mind too terribly. If she was truly stuck in this place to fight their war - and she trusted Albel, so it all had to be true - then it was best to start making friends with her surroundings. And this was a start.

Other than that, there was really nothing else on Maria's mind. Not at the moment, anyway. She'd dismissed the thought of her friends being in trouble, or of Aquaria and Airyglyph once more being at war. She just... wanted to see Albel again.

She found his place and knocked softly on the door.

The knock jerked Albel out of his reverie. Oh, Apris. She's actually here... He opened the door. "Hello, Maria," he said quietly.

Calm, collected, controlled. That was Maria Traydor, leader of the anti-Federation alliance, Quark. But, right now, trapped in this strange new world and coming face-to-face with someone she hadn't seen for quite sometime, she threw away all her masks and just allowed herself to act as she pleased.

She hugged him tightly. "Albel..."

Albel said nothing. In a way, he was grateful Maria had decided to hug him. That way she couldn't see his expression as he struggled not to cry. Fayt's words rang accusingly in his mind: She loves you, Albel. She really does.
