Otogi had stretched out on the couch, rubbing his wrists a little in annoyance. The burns underneath his wristbands didn't hurt too much, but thinking about that iron and steel was an annoyance of a different kind.

"Not that it wasn't fun," he said, looking over at Fubuki with a grin. And indeed, it had been. Next time, they'd have to get a washing machine without so many parts that he couldn't touch, much less fix.

No ravens, perhaps, but there was indeed a rapping at the door, a quick staccato beat that somehow managed to convey cheer without having any tone to do so in. Even several months in, Kaylee still had the capacity to get tripped up over which address was in which building, though no longer for any significant period of time.

Hearing the knock, Fubuki bounced eagerly to the door.

"Hi!" he said "Are you the one who said she'd help fix our washer?"

Otogi looked up curiously to see who it was. It wasn't anyone he recognized, but that was hardly unusual. Even he couldn't know everyone. He remained stretched out, sipping at a drink he'd quite literally just made for himself.
