Characters: OU Saetan, OU Takion Where: The park When: Evening Summary: Saetan decides to combine apologizing with an anniversary picnic. Warnings: Possible fade to black?
Takion's curiosity ran high tonight. But he asked no questions and kept himself out of the park until the appointed time. When the sun set, Takion started his trek, carrying a small wrapped box. His gift was meant both as apology for his own part in the argument he and Saetan had had, as well as an anniversary present.
While he hadn't been given specific directions, it didn't take Takion long to find where he was supposed to be. Twinkles of witchlight offered direction, and when he arrived he felt a little thrill of wonder at the scene Saetan had created.
Saetan seemed a part of the twilight darkness, partially because what he was seemed to belong there, certainly, but also because he had abandoned his usual suit for the black sweater Jaenelle had given him and equally dark trousers. Really, even he could hardly be expected to have a picnic in a suit.
A small, slightly hesitant smile creased his face as he caught sight of Takion before detaching himself from the shadows and wrapping his arms around him, pulling him close. "I'm sorry, love."
Takion returned the smile as he leaned into the embrace. Seeing Saetan dressed so casually put him in the mind to cajole and tease the High Lord into dressing this way more often. But that was the future, and this was the time to concentrate on the present.
Rather than tell Saetan that he was forgiven, Takion responded with a passionate kiss. Even Takion recognized at times that actions could speak just as loudly as words.
Saetan returned the kiss with equal fervor, one hand stroking the hair he never got tired of playing with as he did. He had known going in to this to expect fights; no relationship was without them, after all. The fact that they had had so few made him feel slightly better, but that didn't mean he did not regret things.
"Thank you for coming," He murmured when he was finally able to make himself release Takion's lips long enough to speak. "And for the things you said about Jaenelle. How she'll be safe."
