Dor-Ennea sheifa September 27 2008, 06:34:05 UTC
Sometime in the morning, there was a knock - more of a pound - on the door.

"Shaoraaaaan~!" Sheifa's voice chirped from the other side. "I need to talk to you! Now!"

Unfortunately (more likely to be unfortunate for Ssil, actually) it wasn't the groom who opened the door.

"Oh, hello," Ssil said, pretending to be surprised. "You musst be Ssheifa."

"That's right!" the redhead beamed. "And you must be Ssilissa!"

She then whispered conspiratorially, "Did you know? The wedding's today."

"Yess, I heard," Ssil whispered back.

More loudly, she added, "You're looking for Xiao Lang, right? He'ss here ssomewhere..." The reptilian girl broke off to giggle for a moment. "It ssoundss like we're looking for a losst tool or ssomething, doessn't it?"

welcome to the Church... whitenightking September 27 2008, 17:49:35 UTC
Soma couldn't tell if he was over or under dressed at the moment. And was still humming 'What have I done to deserve this', but he was currently in his formal Dracula attire with his dulled Claimh by his side.

"Soul less woman! I need a list you know!" He shouted out to the masses in general. "How am I supposed to know who's in or out!?"

Gee was nice of the crosses not to crumble at his presence...

Meilin entered the church in her white dress, trying not to run her fingers through hair and ruin it in vain search of yellow ribbons that weren't there. She'd left the bloodied pieces back in the dorm since she didn't think she should bring them with her to such an occasion. But while she'd put them out of sight in places where people would look at her strange for having blood stains on her hair ties, she'd never taken them off her person before. This was the first time since that night, and she felt uncomfortable.

So used to her Chinese collared dresses, the strapless number she wore to the wedding didn't help make her feel any better. Meilin carried a suit on a hanger with hand, wishing she was wearing it instead. Though she probably still could...she was the bestman after all. She needed to ask that girl Haruhi first ( ... )

He was not amused... Really how was he supposed to place people if he didn't know which side of the room to sit them on?! Grrr... maybe a nibble... maybe just a little disciplinary nibble on that gi... Huh?

He turned his head and looked down to see a Chinese girl standing there in a nice white dress. She must have been here for the wedding too. "Umm Haruhi? No... Then again I never met her in person, so what does she look like?" he asked.

Hey it was true! He never met her face to face.

At the question, Meilin's features turned embarrassed, at best. Here she was in her cousin's wedding, and this Haruhi girl was the one who had taken care of all the arrangements. Haruhi was obviously close to Shaoran and Sakura to take such a responsibility, but she'd never met the girl herself. It would stand to reason that she'd be good friends with her too, but she just got a shout out from her about being Shaoran's bestman.

"I've...never met her before either. I'm sorry," Meilin admitted as soon as she got over her embarrassment, bowing in apology without placing her hands on her chest, as she'd never had to before. It was a good thing that the dress Indigeo had sent her fitted so well or so she would have inadvertently flashed the guy.

"I better look for her..." she murmured. "Excuse me," she said, smiling, as she started to turn around.

Haruhi paced back and forth in front of Keiji's shop. She'd told her to come there, in sparkly font even! She'd better hurry up; wedding dresses have a lot of parts therefore take some time to put on and Haruhi had never forced someone into one before.

Ying Fa really didn't know why Haruhi wanted to see her, but she'd told the other girl that she'd be there, and so she hurried. Keiji's shop, where was that again? It occurred to her that she hadn't been out much as of late. However, it wasn't difficult to find - not with Haruhi pacing back and forth in front of it anyway.

"Haruhi-chan?" she called out as she approached, looking just a little too confused. "Is everything alright?"

Finally she was here.

"No. You're late." Haruhi said taking Ying Fa by the wrist and hurrying inside the shop. When would the girl learn a little patience? Quite possibly never.

"Hoeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee." Ying Fa was confused, but didn't struggle and just let Haruhi drag her inside the shop. "Late for what?"

Arriving at the church to help out. banishment September 28 2008, 19:32:24 UTC
Zuko was making his way towards the church, as he'd agreed prior to whatever had caused him to revert back to how he'd acted when he was sixteen for a while, and intended on keeping the promise he'd made to help. Ying Fa was a friend of his, after all, and it wasn't like he had anything better to do in the compound. A wedding was a formal event, so he'd dressed in the most formal thing he had, the black armor of his country. He fixed his hair into a top knot and secured it with his great-grandfather's crown and headed out to locate this church.

He found it easily, thinking that it looked like some of the temples back home. More like the style of the more recent ones erected in the colonial provinces of Omashu than the ancient ones that still existed in the capital. The prince stood near the back of the building and away from what appeared to be sheer chaos, arms crossed over his chest as he waited for someone to give him a task to complete.

Sakura, not being the most observant of people, didn't really know what was going on here. There sure were a lot of people at the church and it couldn't hurt to check it out. It was better than sitting around the all alone, she didn't like being alone.
As a princess Sakura dressed fairly formally on any given day so without knowing it she was dressed nice enough to attend a wedding.

Avoiding the chaos, that would probably have lead her to where her friend and roommate was, the princess ended up near where Zuko stood. "Excuse me," She asked the black armored figure. "What is this?"

((ooc: feel free to mistake her for Ying))

Zuko was unaware of the fact that Ying Fa had a double in the compound. He should have been aware of such a thing, but he had neglected to pay attention and knew that there were people, like himself and the others from his world, who were without doubles. It was no wonder that he assumed the girl who walked up to him and asked was going on was his friend and not a complete stranger.

A small small tugged at the corner of his lips. "You haven't figured it out yet, Ying Fa?" He quipped. "Perhaps I don't give Haruhi enough credit."

Oh boy, now she was really confused. Wait. Did he just call her 'Ying Fa'? "But I'm not Ying-chan."

((After this.))

"I'm pretty sure you won't be needing your sword!" Sheifa interrupted Xiao Lang in midsentence, almost... a little too happily. "You got those Card things anyway!" She tugged at his arm again and proceeded to drag him up the stairs; at least, she tried to. "Come on!"

But without his sword he couldn't really use the cards, she'd gotten it backwards but that didn't really matter. He gave in for the moment and fallowed along, it was better than being dragged up the stairs.

Something wasn't right. He couldn't sense anything magically wrong and then there was this other girl...
