Let's see. Goku's previous sorrows and worries were all now deleted in that monkey brain of his, leaving even more room for his regular addiction to food and idiocy. Hearing that Sanzo was here was like one of those times when you died like eight times in happiness. His sun was here though! And everyone was expecting it so it wasn't really a surprise now was it ( ... )

Hakkai was out taking a walk, as he did now and again here. He'd found they were a nice way to pass the time. But, of course, as he spotted Goku standing near the fountain talking to someone, he changed directions to head that way.

It was strange, but Goku seemed positively overjoyed at the moment. He was usually cheerful, but this seemed beyond that. And following directly after the lately bit of insanity here, it was even more unusual than he would have expected.

"Goku," he greeted with a smile as he got close to the pair. "I hope I'm not interrupting," he added, with a nod in the direction of Goku's companion.

The moment the priest heard Goku's voice, he turned quickly. "So you found me," was all he said. He did look different, Sanzo mused. Just a little older, a little tired, he thought, and nervous, like he really wasn't sure it was him. Had he really been here months, when Sanzo had been here hours?

He looked over at Hakkai when he spoke; there was definitely something different about him, a subtle but real change from that morning when Sanzo had last seen him. He frowned a bit as he studied him, but said nothing in reply.

Wasn't that hard after walking around in circles for months. "Well, the fountain isn't too far from th' apartments so it's hard tah miss!" Then he decided to ask the obvious of what was on his mind. "Sanzo, Are you really Sanzo?" Yeah, that made sense. "The one I've known for ever? Or are yah jus' Sanzo?" Because really, he wouldn't jump for joy and wag his tail like a puppy if this wasn't the right one to do it too.

Though, he got distracted by Sanzo's answer by Hakkai. "Hey," he replied. It was a slightly guilty masked with excitement greeting. No one could blame him for still beating himself up over what happened not too long ago. Just hard to forgive himself for letting it happen... it seemed that even in his normal state he couldn't resist the maniac side of him.

Not something he should be thinking about at the moment though. "In case yah haven't met 'im in your world, Hakkai this is Sanzo! Sanzo might already know you, but if he doesn't;" Goku turned to Sanzo then. "Sanzo, this is Hakkai!"
