Esteemed? The Doctor would have chuckled if he'd heard that particular thought. However, the man was also dressed in black, sitting on a pew, facing the altar with his suit coat unbuttoned to show a white dress shirt beneath. The top button unbuttoned as well. It was still a little warm in the church these days.

Rosy light poured down from the Rosetta window hovering over the organ in the back of the choir loft, setting the area on heliotropic fire. The light caught in the Doctor's hair, showed tiny gleams of gold in the hum-drum brown. He was in need of a shave, and bit rumbled looking. Most of all though, he just looked old, and tired. While he aged slower than humans - far slower, beneath the shadows lurking under his eyes and the scruff appearing at his neck and chin, he might have only resembled a human in their twenties.

"Hello!" he chirped, suddenly a coil of spring and energy in a suit, rising to meet Fayt. "I'm the Doctor, what can I help you with?"

Boy, was he enthusiastic. Fayt had no trouble smiling. "I'm Fayt." He held up a small bag. "I brought your hot fish and chips," he said good-naturedly.
