Summary: Belldandy decided it was time to spread a bit of chaos and activate the mind control spell. Of course, it has to open with a bang and the Fall Ball is just the time.

Well, hopefully that meant Belldandy was all better then with the issues she'd been having. After all, if she wants to make everyone happy like this, she HAS to be happy.

And of course Skuld would come. She wear a red formal dress for the Ball, arriving with Mao. "I wonder if she did all this herself?" Skuld murmured, looking around the place.

Mao hung at Skuld's side, looking around the tent with awe. Wow, it didn't take long to set all this up, did it? Mao wouldn't have ever been able to do it on his own! It was too much.

"Maybe she did! She's a goddess, right?" he replied, still in awe himself. He didn't think anyone back in his world had a power to set up tents this quickly. Geass, as far as he knew, just didn't work like that.

But now Mao was something between excited and nervous, realizing that he was here at a formal party with Skuld. And for once, it was less nervous and more excited!

"Yeah. I'm pretty sure she set it all up with magic. She can't work this fast otherwise." Skuld said, looking around and looking at Mao. She felt nervous herself. Mainly because she wanted to tell him something before the night ended.

"That's really cool!" he said, grinning at Skuld. "Could you do the same thing?" He was certain he already knew the answer, but that didn't matter. Just the realization that he was going to this ball thing with a woman who could do that so easily was a little shocking...!

Soma probably could have walked in, but screw that, he flew in bat style. He wasn't the most... Social person in the world. Despite a growing harem of girls he now looked after, he just... wasn't that good with meeting new people face to face, over the PDA's were working though. So he found himself a spot on one of the poles that arched to the roof. He settled into his spot looking about.

Soma unfurled his wings in surprise when he heard the commotion. Ok, the girl doing the speech was one thing. But there was a shout of surprise and Soma took wing, flying over everyone he kept his eyes on the events on the ground below, as shadows of more bats then just himself began to be tossed upon the ceiling.

((OOC: Soma's starting to activate his teleport. First sign of a loud BOOM and he's going to start jumping into the agreed upon logs to do his kidnappy....))

After having received definite confirmation that his girlfriend was attending, Zuko headed to the area of the park where the ball was being held and stepped into the tent dressed in full Fire Nation regalia, dressed as the prince he was with his shaggy, unkempt hair that was usually down and threatening to block the sight of both his eyes, held u in a top knot secured with his great-grandfather's crown. He wondered idly if Azula was going to make an appearance and if she'd be dressed similarly before he began to search for Mai with his hands clasped hind his back, child held high, and spine straight. His usual lazy slouch was gone and now carried himself through the tent as only royalty could.

Mai arrived in a new outfit Zuko had sent her. She looked around the party. It was a bit too bright for her tastes, but that was to be expected. Well, if she found Zuko, things should turn out just fine. She might even enjoy herself.

Zuko had spent more time than was probably necessary while looking for something appropriate for Mai to wear without asking her what she wanted. It was something he was determined to make a surprise and when he spotted her, knew he'd made the right choice. Finding something that was both in Fire Nation colors and in a style that Mai liked had been difficult, but he'd pulled it off. And she looked good.

The prince smiled and made his way over to her, stopping short of her, bowing and using her title as if the entirety of the Fire Nation was watching them.

Mai looked over at Zuko and smiled. She really did find he looked good in anything, but he truly did look like a noble prince. Even with the scar. "Prince Zuko." She said in response.

Acheron made his way inside, arms folded calmly behind his suited back and dark eyes casually scanning over the growing crowd. He'd come only because he'd grown tired of spending all his time holed up in Om-Enas, working on the Prose Portal and muttering about how stupid some of the other residents were. Now that he'd gotten the machine as up and running as he thought was possible to get at that point in time, the eldest Hades decided that maybe it was time to embrace the fact that there was still life outside his front door and attend the ball another resident was throwing. Why it was going on, he hadn't the foggiest, though he wasn't exactly interested in the 'why' right now

Persephone had made the executive decision not to ask Robin to accompany her to the ball. If their whole dating was to be kept on the down low, then the two of them showing up to a party with arms linked? Probably not the best of plans for keeping things secretive. (Though how that mattered anymore, Persephone hardly knew -- she'd not heard a word from Harley, keeping an eye out for the clown, and they had been on at least one date in public already. Oh. And she was a goddess. That seemed to be a detail he overlooked at times. Boys.)

At least this was a chance to unwind after the hallucinations of the past few days. Even if Persephone was still recovering, the goddess still a few shades paler than usual, and it was evening (a few hours could be spared for a party), she had decided to make the most of it

His head throbbed once, painfully. Someone nearby was wearing that most hated silver; he could already feel it. Why that particular element hurt him where no other things could, he had no idea. It simply did, and he knew to avoid it, bringing about another reason in providing Persephone with the gift. Acheron would know when she was coming if she was wearing it, and would be able to move elsewhere; would be forced to move elsewhere.

Which was what he chose to do now. Sidestepping a few people, he began to move about, trying to figure out where the metal was and what direction would take him away from it the fastest. It might not even be the goddess- silver certainly wasn't an uncommon thing to wear to a formal event- but he had to put distance between himself and it, wherever it was.

If Persephone had known this, she would have been pleased. Beyond, actually -- more like absolutely transported, no matter how she hid it. Unfortunately, the goddess was able to pick Acheron out in the crowd. He was much taller than most of the people she knew around there and that made him an easier target.

A frown twitched at the corners of her mouth, grey eyes narrowed. The Underworld was he doing there? Didn't evil people have better things to do than, you know, attend the same parties she was going to? The look Persephone was giving the man was probably the same sort of evil eye he had been trying to avoid.

Now that he had been spotted, Persephone felt the urge to follow him, make sure he was up to no good, slipping carefully through the crowd and moving between people.

Kurogane slumped as he stood, hands in his pockets. He looked around the rest of the people, feeling no desire to ‘mingle’ or whatever the hell one was suppose to do at these things. He looked down at what he had been attacked with earlier. It wasn’t too bad, maybe a bit too stiff. Black slacks, white dress shirt, black jacket, black shoes. The shoes were far too shiny and how anyone was suppose to run in them was beyond him

Tomoyo had then requested that Fay be done up just as nice before turning the attention to herself. So, Fay came with some sort of tight pants, a dress short much to large since he had to borrow one of Kurogane's, and a cute little blue flower in his hair to go with his eyes. Of course, Tomoyo did not bother much with Fay's hair and helped him get the fur of his tail nice and neat before setting him off.

Fay glanced at his partner and laughed since his hair was starting to stick up again. "You were right, Kuro-chan!" He reached up to try and smooth it down again, jingling as he did. He sat back on his heels with a bought when it just helped more of Kurogane's hair break free. "... for as long as I want too~"

Great. Kurogane sighed and looked back out over the tent. Maybe there would at least be some form of alcohol. He hadn't had anything to drink but tea and water since coming to this place. Not that there was anything wrong with tea or water, he just would like to feel that pleasant burn again. Also, if Fay was going to keep trying to control his hair he may need a drink. "So... What now?" Not that he hated people, really. There were a few he'd manage a meaningless conversation with. But he still wasn't use to these sorts of things. Kurogane was much better acting as Tomoyo's shadow at parties then actually being part of one.

"We mingle and dance and get plastered?" Fay suggested, noticing the look on Kurogane's face. It was no mystery to him that Kurogane would want the alcohol at least. He wondered if this was Kurogane's first ball? He looked nervous enough for it. This was his first ball that hadn't required him to do something "nice" for a few powerful people Fei Wong wanted to have a "good" relationship with, so he was also new to this as well in a sense. Oh well, they'd just have to watch and learn!
