Characters: AU!Lelouch and AU!Kallen Where: Their Room When: After their conversation here Summary: Lelouch tells Kallen the truth about Zero. Warnings: None yet?
Kallen had headed back towards their room as soon as Lelouch had asked her to, but she hadn't hurried to do so. She dreaded finding out whether or not he was lying to her. There was a chance he wasn't Zero in his world, she supposed, but... She'd had it from both Rolo and Cornelia that Lelouch was, indeed, Zero and... It just wouldn't make sense that they would lie about it. Rolo had even been under the influence of that truth spell when he'd said it.

Lelouch, who was half-turned away from the door, turned around only slightly, not ready to face Kallen head-on. "Hi..." he replied, turning his face her way and nearly meeting her eyes.
Lelouch seemed to be acting strange, Kallen decided. Which didn't really help her figure out whether he was telling the truth or not. He probably would act strange either way. "So," she said, "why did you want to talk in person?" Please, tell me the truth.
Lelouch took a step forward, paused, then stepped back. He lifted his hand and stood still, lost in thought. Then his hand fell to his side and he looked up again.
"I'm sorry," he muttered. "I lied to you before, Q-1.
