Sakura was in a good mood, it would have been a rare occasion for her not to be. Always cheerful, perpetually smiling that's how most people viewed the princess. Right now she had no reason not to be, she had gotten over the whole missing month thing and although it wasn't nice to put up all those 'Kurogane is mean' banners there wasn't any reason to stay upset if he wasn't.

Sakura hummed softly to herself as she wandered through the park, it had been a while since she'd last been there but not much had changed, it didn't feel as lonely anymore which was always pleasant. Enough so even for her to walk up to a certain large tree and attempt to wrap her arms around it. She smiled as she leaned against the tree.

Kurogane's eyes opened as he felt someone coming in his direction and looking down to see some girl coming into view. Sighing heavily in his head, he waited silently to see if she would just keep moving. She slowed then... hugged the tree? Kurogane lifted an eyebrow. He started running through his options now that it seemed the girl was going to be sticking around a bit. Saying something or jumping down would just startle her and then he'd have to deal with her. Staying put ran the risk of her looking up and spotting him. Kurogane sank back towards the tree's truck some more figuring staying there was the best option for now. Hopefully she wouldn't notice the grown man hiding in the tree and move on quickly.

Somehow...in the midst of some military imprisonment, in the friends and aquaintances he had made, one man found peace and happiness in one place. The one place in the compound that filled him with a feeling of serenity. A sensation that he could only remember, relaxing lazily in the vast fields of Hyrule. Optimistic, true, loving, heroic, and quiet...

The day was perfect. With the Master Sword and Hylian Shield safely stowed in his barracks, he moved into the open, for the first time since being here, unarmed. This was how calm he felt, rays of a golden hue swaying through the openings in the leaves, providing a warmth that could only compliment the smile gracing his lips. As if in a trance and unaware of the rest of the world, Link's eyes were closed, and yet they were open in another time.

"Link..." Her voice echoed in his thoughts, in his heart, in his soul. He could only pray for her safety, wherever she was; and that for her sake, she would never have to come to this cursed world, evil lurking just around the bend. He had yet ( ... )

"Hmm?" Sakura opened her eyes. What a beautiful sound, so comforting almost familiar. She staid as she was, leaning against the tree, just listening to the song of the ocarina. Her eyes gently falling shut after a while.

She really would like to know the source of such a tune. When it felt to her like the song was coming to an end the princess woke from this somewhat of a trance the lullaby had put her under and peered around to the other side of the tree.

"Linkun," Sakura's expression was now more of happiness than of contentment to see her friend.

Belldandy, however, was not quite in a good mood. She was getting a bit anxious now. REALLY, she had been playing the fool for so long, she was ready to gag! She needed to do something! If only to release a bit of that pent up energy.

She had been walking in the park when she made this decision and stopped when she felt something so CHEERY in the tree above her. She looked up and then smiled. It seemed the ninja was in a cheery mood.

Let's see if she could change that. "Kurogane-san! Good afternoon." She called cheerfully.

Kurogane grumbled to himself about the failures of his tree. Why did the goddess have to pick his tree? Compared to others she was low in the rankings of annoyances, but he would like to enjoy his good mood in peace. It wasn't often that his worries dwindled down to nothings. Maybe she wouldn't look up?

Crap. Ah, well, Kurogane was in such a good mood that he didn't even look annoyed at being found out. He met her look, "Hey."

She's not a nice person, no. goddesshelpline August 22 2008, 05:44:55 UTC
"I see you're up and about. So you're all better then?" Belldandy asked, smiling at him cheerfully.

Now, how to destroy his happy mood?

That's why we love her. steelninja August 22 2008, 05:51:41 UTC
"Yeah," Kurogane moved to sit so he could get a better view of her, swinging his legs over. "I feel fine." Especially compared to how he was last time Belldandy saw him. And just to show how good he felt, he moved to continue some kind of awkward conversation, "How are you?"

Well, the ninja wasn't safe. Hiei had left her room again and had made her way to the park. She hadn't seen her roommates in a long time, but she was glad. She wasn't much of a social person and she preferred to keep to herself.

Urameshi was gone, the other Hiei was gone. She wasn't sure if Youko was here still. Needless to say, the demoness wasn't in a good mood. Then again, she was rarely in a good mood. And seeing someone in her favorite spot didn't help as well.

She needed to take a closer look at the one who had taken her spot, so she jumped right up into the lower branches before climbing to a place where she could take a better look at him.

He must have been another version of the one she had sparred with not too long ago. "Hmph." She said softly before finding another perch within the tree to relax.

Kurogane brow went to the more common scowl when he felt something approach. Not now, he thought to whoever was threatening his space. Unfortunately, whoever it was just got closer making Kurogane open his eyes. Meeting the girl's look with his own appraising one, he concluded that he did not know her and he did not care to. That was a common conclusion for the ninja to make though. Watching her move to a new spot, he raised an eyebrow, clearly asking what her problem was and why the hell she was still here.

She said nothing, choosing to instead just try to relax and close her eyes. This ninja wasn't the one she had sparred with, since he didn't seem to recognize her at all. She wasn't bothering him as she lay on one of the higher branches, her fingers laced behind her head.

He would think she'd go off to a different tree at least. Kurogane tried to shrug it off, but when you left your apartment to try to find a place without people around having someone settle down in your tree can put you off. He settled back to ignore her, however she was still there, distracting him from his own relaxing. After a long moment he finally caved and grumbled a "You want something?" up at her.
