Summary: Lina's making the most of what's left of the summer by conjuring up waterspouts all around the compound for people to frolic in. Bring your swimsuit. ^_^
Warnings: Nothing out of the ordinary, I don't think

Poor, sheltered Gino had never heard of such a thing as running through sprinklers on a hot day. He'd spent most of his pampered life believing that the only thing sprinklers were good for was watering the lawn and keeping stray cats out of your yard. But apparently he had been very mistaken! And in his excitement to see for himself what 'running through the sprinklers' was like, he had left his room with a hop, skip, and a jump.

Of course, he hadn't really thought to wear a swimsuit; he simply came out in his most comfortable, casual outfit (complete with fabulous orange shades on top of his head)... and was immediately startled by a sudden spout of cool water up from the ground. The Knight jumped back in surprise, gazing up at the fount that rose even taller than him, a smile slowly spreading over his face. "Sprinkler, hah?"

Lina spied the newcomer and greeted him with a smile and a cheery wave.

"Hi!" she sang out. "Come to join the fun?"

Gino's attention was distracted from the waterspout by the glimpse of a wave and a greeting. He turned his head to catch sight of Lina and smiled back when he realized it was he she was calling to. "Hey there! Sure did," he replied. "Are you the one who was gonna make the sprinklers?"

Where Zel had gotten a pair of swimming trunks from was anybody's guess, but he was leaning against the wall and smirking. "Hello, Lina."

Lina glanced up from her fountains and blinked a few times.

"Zel, is that you?" she asked. "You were cooler as a chimera."

Zel rolled his eyes. "I apparently didn't think so. Not that I'd know what I was thinking, of course." He bit back a comment about Lina's figure; as much as he enjoyed speaking his mind, he really didn't want to be kicked in the teeth.

Kon had seen Lina's post over the comms. A girl in a swimsuit? He was so there.

It didn't take him long to grab his own trunks and a shirt and saunter on down to look for the action. He still had to look twice when he found it. So, Lina in a swimsuit might not be as impressive as the mage had billed herself, but the water? "Wow."

"I'm Lina," she replied. "And I can't do as much as I'd like with this stupid cuff in the way. It keeps me from using all my good spells. But at least it doesn't keep me from cooling off!"
