after working at The Children's Place for eight months, the payroll department has finally managed to get my direct deposit straightened.  mind you, i filled out the paperwork on my first day.  okay, there were a few "extenuating circumstances" that weren't their fault, even one delay that might have been my fault, but i still entirely blame them ( Read more... )

ot nearly as productive. which is weird 'cuz i really used to just catch fire at two o'clock in the morning.

Isn't getting old weird?

Good luck on the lit review - I had trouble with the one I did and I got 5 pages. It's hard to cram an entire survey course worth of material into a page!

Not that I'm defending them, but the release of the direct deposit paycheck is the bank's call. Some of them like to hang on to it, really, really like to hang on to it.

Still that sounds like a lot of damn work for something that is supposed to make life easier.

the bank had no problem with the direct deposit. when i went in to get the form, they said that it had come in fine, no problems. the only thing i can think of is that payroll was confused by the fact that my routing number goes to an Arizona bank but i have a Washington address. (Well's Fargo thing, they don't let you move your account. your home bank stays the same regardless of where you live.)
