Hazel's first night went so well--for her. She was in her kennel in our bedroom and yet I was so afraid that she was going to wake up and I wouldn't hear her to let her out that I got about 2 hours of sleep. One of those was from 9-10 am when she came downstairs with Dave ( Read more... )

Today! We drove to Birmingham, got ourselves a rolly-polly ball of fluff, came home, and tired really *really* hard not to spoil her rotten. At this I am doing pretty okay. She has Dave trained to cuddle at a single whine though. He is adorable ( Read more... )

I really have nothing worth saying, but I thought I would squee a bit and say that at this time tomorrow I will have my puppy for cuddley goodness!

Yesterday I baked dog biscuits and our whole house got kind of smelly >_>. Not the best. Better than the burned chicken though.

Our breeder's computer has been broken, but they got it fixed and sent us a picture. The other day when I talked to him about when we could bring her home, he said she was gorgeous & IMHO he was completely right :D

Last week--it must have been Thurday--I was taking some cardboard out to the recycling bin and an orange kitty came streaking into our house. I was really, really surprised.
