I completely agree.. people take it so personally too and can really get up in arms if it doesn't go their way.

On that note, I'm gonna add you because you seem interesting and I'd like to read more of what you post.

My friends list is currently in overload mode, so not only have I not yet read it for today (work and all that, yay) but I'm not likely to be adding new people to it at any point soon.

I've got friends, people I read because I know them, and people I read because they write well, all together on LJ under one term, as well as people I like who are not also people I trust particularly much. It's a really interesting mix to lump in under one term.
