You're really coming into your own with this pairing. I know I'm enjoying them. c:

Sorry about your dog. Maybe you can find another one to adopt. Like... a lab, they aren't aggressive.

I'm glad you had no problems with that interpretation... the most fashionable Xanxus seems to be the cold bastard who has no feelings BESIDES anger.

I love making Xanxus seems pathetic and pitiable because I know he hates it XD I think parts of him do have low self-esteem because of his loss to Tsuna (odd how he isn't crazed like Hibari is against Mukuro) and his genetics.

My neighbors have a lab actually ^^' He is very jumpy. They have had two and one died only last year. The youngest kid in the family was devastated. They are a very sweet breed, but I think, if I couldn't get a pit bull, I think I would want a greyhound. They strike me as majestic ;]

I'm not too keen on Xanxus, but I liked him before his defeat and after. He's one of those characters that I like no matter how he shows himself.

Labs are a bit hyper. Greyhound! Oh goodness, they are majestic. Beautiful creatures. But aren't they rare in adoption centers?

Well, there's been a huge surge of them in Massachusetts. This state recently outlawed the greyhound races. JUST happened a bit over a year ago. There is a special shelter for them near where I live that rescues ones that were going to be put down by their owners. YOUNG DOGS just because they were using up their steam in running.

So it is not to hard to find one in this state. I'm not sure if there are races where you are.

I love pit bulls, actually except the one that nearly tore my arm off, and that's just such a perfect analogy for XANXUS. Hnngh~

Thank you! I've heard so many horror stories about them, but watching cesar milan turned me around.

I choke with pity when I think of pit bulls. And Xanxus I guess. yeah, Xanxus is such a fight dog. he really has had such a horrible beginning... his background makes what his monstrosity logical.

(When I was taking care of the dog, I slept in the room we were keeping her in on the floor with my laptop. The little darling curled up, then got back up after a few minutes and came over and licked me up, as if to say goodnight, and then went back to her corner. *crying on the inside*)

Aaah, I love animals, and I really think any bad reputations come from the way people force them to act. ;A; I'm slightly biased against chihuahuas, but that's a different story... xD

;A; Animals are really wonderful companions, trusting people as much as they do.

I completely agree. I live in a city with a lot of dog-fighting. (I'm on campus now, I mean my hometown.) But my mum told me, recently, the city is making it this new law:

"The proposal would require pit bulls to be leashed and muzzled when not on their owner's property.

It also requires pit bull owners to place a warning sign on their property and notify authorities if their dog injures or threatens a person or animal."

^^' The animal shelter is boycotting accepting all animals in protest from Worcester. Its putting the blame on the dogs, but the the blame should go on the people who raise them. Thank goodness its being postponed.

It's like, not all the pit bulls out there are bad.

(I don't like chihuahuas either. They are like little napoleons ;p)

You made me really feel sad for Xanxus now.
I like the parallel traced with the pitbull, too.
Great work!

And I know what you mean. I once had a puppy here for two weeks before I had to give it (there was no more space for more dogs, I already have two and live in an apartment), and it was enough for me to fall in love with it.

I've always felt bad for Xanxus. To come to the belief that fear is always better than love, to shout that there is no such thing as compassion, well, you have to go through some pretty nasty stuff to become that hard.

I think Xanxus needs a puppy to know what love is. XD

Yep, indeed, indeed.

Aww, that would be lovely! Xanxus and a puppy, who would've thought? :D

This is so stunning, I think I need to just sit here and stare at it for a moment. From "push his own pain into her" to the pit bull analogy to the final metaphor that just layers the whole thing over with sadness and regret--nngghh. So beautiful.

(Also, pit bulls! They are such sweet, loyal dogs and it's such a shame that people have been--and continue to be--so cruel to them. There's a rotweiller in my family and even that one gets funny looks from the neighbor, but you'll never meet a kinder, smarter dog who is also such a sweet, goofy idiot. <3)

aughh, yeah, I've always seen Xanxus to have lost himself to his violence in the same way as a fight dog, trained to be vicious.

Pit bulls, I love their smile (c[:
I can't forget the dog either. First chance I get where I can live with a dog, I will adopt one. No one love more than a dog!
