Don't worry, sweetie, I'm not really a part of the Caroline-Carlin-etc. group either! I tend to drift in and out, so if they're partying behind your back they're partying behind mine too. From what I know Second Suburb wasn't even a planned thing, we all just discovered we were going by ourselves and decided to meet up. If I had known you were planning on going I would have made sure you were included.
I feel like I miss out on all the teenage stuff too, because I don't have a set clique, just a eclectic group of friends from different social circles. But oh well, 436 days until college! I love all my friends (yes, even you *grins*) but I am looking forward to resetting my friends groups.
The drunk kids... most of GP is eligible for a MIP every weekend. Which is why I loved the GP Police skit, because it was so dead-on.
If you ever want to talk about anything, give me a call, or head across the street. I'll be there for you.
We love you kirsten, so glad you came to the dance. It was way better than dancing right? for sure. and if they ever give you a hard time about and dont wanna hang out with you... be like that's cool I have way cooler friends lik laura, caitlin, lydia who have a girl-guy ratio generally of at least 2:4... usually more. but yet we're not skanky! (except for last night lol). But really kid, you're nice, honest, accepting, fun, smart, approachable, and great to be around. Don't let other people get you down ever. And like Kat said too, I've gone through a lot of this kind of shit before as well, some with the same people you are, so if you ever do want to talk I'm here. You don't deserve to be made to feel bad by your friends, you're better than that.
"Carlin, I used to talk to online all the time, and our conversations were fun to have, but now, it's just awkward."
I'm so sorry! I had no idea you felt like this. To be honest, the reason we don't really talk anymore is because 1) I don't talk to anyone online a whole lot anymore (except Byron) 2) I don't read so much fanfic anymore and that was usually the basis of our convos. (AtE!!)
I really wasn't trying to ditch you at all. I promise.
And "The Carlin-Caroline group"?? I didn't know I was the half namesake of a clique.
lol, I was a little weird at the time, but I suppose I could call it the "Carlin-Caroline-Leigh-Tereza-Meghan-Suzanne group". would that make you feel better? It was just the fact that your names popped into my mind as being really close. you know, Carlin is almost Caroline... lol.
