[What a coincidence that this kid is in your class. He is definitely in need of moral education.

Not that he cares.]

This assignment is bullshit.

[ Regular!Lamb rarely sees reason to openly disapprove of anyone's choice vocabulary. Teacher!Lamb sternly begs to differ: ]

Profanity does not strengthen your argument, Gokudera.

[It's a shame that, for as intelligent as he is, he's such a delinquent. 8(]

It symbolizes my frustration with just how much of a waste of time this whole class is.

You believe the skills and information taught in this class to be unnecessary? Why?

In that case, can I use the study period to research the final in the library? [Perfect, and completely anti-social student]

[ For Lamb there can be no perfection with an anti-social attitude. But at least the intellect is there, so she still has hopes of nudging this one in the right direction. ]

Would you consider tutoring your fellow students instead? Some have fun into difficulties and I believe you would all benefit from sharing your progress with them.

I've been looking through the suggested readings, but I don't actually agree with a lot of those. I can cite sources other than those available in the school library, right? [Elaine's a good, intelligent student, talks to her friends a bit too much in class, but otherwise lays low. Although her Moral Education papers are very opinionated.]

[ Lamb appreciates Elaine's potential, but being a fellow opinionated person means there is always room for clashes, depending on where their opinions on a particular subject lie. ]

I was actually hoping the suggested material would suffice and our library's selection is quite extensive. What did you have in mind?

Something a bit more... Something that caters to individuality. I know you've talked about the relevance of group efforts before, and I do agree with that on a personal level mostly, but... I don't think it should apply to everyone. I don't think it can.

[ DEAR GOD YOU MENTIONED THE I WORD. KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE! ]

Are you looking into the suggestion that not all individuals are capable of engaging in group efforts or that they merely prefer to decide against it?

[ Clarification first. Possible disapproval later. ]
