I understand that a number of my students has encountered difficulties with our current writing assignment.
Unfortunately I must decline the deadline extension some of you have requested: All of you are to hand in your final draft on Monday, as we have previously discussed.
I will however make myself available to answer any questions you may have. You may come see me this afternoon after class to review your progress on the assignment.
[ Students are welcome to respond now or see her in person later. After finishing the transmission her colleagues will be able to socialise with her in the teacher's lounge. Anyone can simply run into her anywhere on the school grounds as well. ]
