School sucks. Wow, I never thought I'd say that after I graduated from college. However, as there's nothing more to talk about other than misbehaving students, and annoying paperwork.

Why do we have to have these things again?

So I'm finally back at home. I would like to say it's more peaceful here than it was there, but that would be a blatant lie. My father still hasn't left, and apparently still has his heart set on a party.

And it seems my students forgot everything I had taught them while I was away, so we're having to start from ground zero.

Starting essays this week, and I don't think I could dread anything more. I still can't believe that third year students can't string together a simple sentence. I find myself wondering why I'm teaching more often, which I guess can't come as a complete surprise. However, I will continue, though my efforts are futile ( Read more... )

Try-outs for the tennis team were this afternoon.

Believe it or not it wasn't a complete and total disaster. Some of the kids actually knew the eastern grip from the western grip. Not that they could hit a ball worth a damn but still.

At any rate I've decided on the team.

We'll be lucky to win a game...
