Goody...since I had to ship something and walk to the post-office, I missed the mailman today.  He tried to deliver Alex's Clint Eastwood reproduction poncho that he's been itching to get for days now.

Now he's all pissed at me for not being there to get it.... -sigh-

Okay I'm officially feeling dejected and depressed, and I am severely running out of ideas.  We're assuming the job in Lawrence has fallen through, our apartment lease is about to run out (only a few more days), and no one in this god-forsaken town seems to want to do short-term leases.  Those few that are willing are full until next freaking year ( Read more... )

Well all, we finally found out about Montana.  It's a no-go this round.  Apparently several professors are going on sabbatical soon, so there won't be enough professors to go around for all the grad kids that applied.  Alex and a few other fully (and probably over-) qualified students had to be rejected because of this ( Read more... )
