most of what you said about christians is quite false according to the bible. so anyone who does believe that is reading a completely different book. that quote actually isnt clever at all, whether its being read by a christian or not, unless you've been quite uninformed to what christian belief is based off of.
that quote is stupid the whole frozen yogurt thing is easily proven incorrect it is very well known that faith isnt something that can be proven the concept of creation and the beginning of life is something that we cannot wrap our minds around
the quote sounded dumb that person should be shat on
Let's say I have faith that frozen yogurt makes me invisible.
You say no, look at science. Science says that it's not possible.
You have faith that God created man right alongside monkeys, fish, single-celled organisms and the like.
I say no, look at science. Science says that it's not possible. (carbon dating and more and more DNA tests are beginning to show more and more links between chimpanzees and humans, which I don't think is a coincidence. God didn't decide to recycle some genes to use in both mammals)
So we both have the same viewpoints, yet for some reason science is completely valid in telling me that my TCBY won't turn me invisible. But when I say that science created man, and has some pretty fucking good evidence to prove it, I am immediately shot down.
Wrap your mind around the idea of the Big Bang. See, science has creationism shit like that too, that you cannot wrap your mind around.

I still think they're hogwash, and I stick to the theory of evolution, but I know the other side's arguments.
I was raised catholic for the first 18 years of my life.
