Pollywog Blog: 22 weeks, 5 days

There has been another belly explosion this week. It seems like it doesn't increase in size so consistently as I thought, or perhaps I just notice it at intervals. However, it's getting comments. I suddenly feel big.

I think it's quite normal to grow in spurts! I know I certainly did. When the baby is born it continues to grow in spurts at particular times (and if you're breastfeeding, you'll know it!!)

I found I often got more hungry around the time my belly would get a bit bigger - greedy baby!! :-)

I'm finding that as well... and the baby kicks more... though it calmed down yesterday and I wasn't so hungry... today it's kicking a bit more again, but I'm not that hungry at the moment (of course I just came from lunch, but that doesn't always matter!).

It's a common thing for me to remark that "the parasite ate my lunch!"

Hehe - exactly! The baby eats all this food that you'll never gain a pound in weight for. It's fabulous. And if you are breastfeeding, every time they kick their little legs, they're burning off your pies. Gotta love nature! :-)

Yes! There must be more sewing! I will bring tea next time and wear a dress and apron :)

Well... I could dress to match. Perhaps we need a couple of bonnets as well.
