No Alaska for me this summer. It hurts. A lot. I was so lost over whether I should go or not, and then after a lot of time I realized I wanted to go back. I even had all my financial problems settled until I would have left for Alaska. It amazes me the poor level of English proficiency that the Japanese can come to work in the states, yet the high level of Japanese that is spoken by an American still can't fin work in Japan boggles my mind.

Agreed D: It's a scary thought for me(and probably ANYONE),as I am (trying) to become fluent in japanese...

I gave up on trying to fluently speak Japanese. It won't help me get a job in Japan. the corporate work culture is not to give a job to a foreigner that can be done by a Japanese, unless fo course it is outsourced to China, something more and more Japanese companies are doing now, making it even harder for any westerner to find work in Japan.

That is just fucked up. Im sorry :< But maybe take this as a sign that something BETTER is about to happen :) Thats what I try to do...>:B Keep your head up,cause something fantastic is bound to happen sooner or later :)
