I apply for jobs on the internet. I found a couple websites that post the types of jobs I'm looking for. I also look at state government web sites-they usually have employment postings for state jobs. I don't know exactly what you're looking for but at one time I was looking for school employment-I don't have a teaching certif. so I was looking at private school employment-a lot of times they don't require a teaching certificate but a degree. If you do a search for private school employment, teaching employment, etc. you should be able to find a site that posts schools offering employment. I lucked into the job I have now, but it was posted on a website that posts lincoln jobs. There are a ton of jobs on the internet-just not ones one monster or job sites like them-they tend to get a lot of temp jobs-not saying all of them, just more than I like to sift through. Hope this helps!

*Hugs* Babe, the job searching process is hard. I know, because it took me 3+ years post graduation to finally find a job that I truly love, and even that's lucky. Sometimes it takes people longer ( ... )

My first real job was through Teach For America, to which I just solicited an application and then interviewed. The next two jobs were random applications to school disticts and the last was a connection.

Just this fall you were posting about speech therapist positions in Indy. These are often underfilled positions. How about calling all disticts you'd be interested in working for and asking to be sent an application. Of course, I am assuming that this is what you want to do. . .

Hey, girl. I dunno if you are still interested, but my mom said that she's pretty sure that Old National Trail would hire you "in a second" to be a speech assistant. And that would mean that there are probably a lot of other places that would, too. Sounds like it's a really under-staffed area, and she said that she knows that you have a lot of strengths you could bring to it.

Like I said, I dunno if you are still interested or not...
