*Hugs* Babe, the job searching process is hard. I know, because it took me 3+ years post graduation to finally find a job that I truly love, and even that's lucky. Sometimes it takes people longer.

Here's a few tips from my experience:

-Utilize your college career services
-Network: anyone you know, friends, family have them on the lookout
-If you can, see if you can visit with a career counselor at DePauw. I visited with one at UMSL, where my dad teaches and she was very helpful.

I really don't know how to define a "reaL" job. I guess WFYI would be it, and I got it because WDD underwrites for WFYI and one of Shane's bosses at the time got me in touch with a sales rep there.

But my current job, I just sent my resume to my now boss and he brought me in and just loved me right from the start. However, it was several months later when I was hired.

There's no one magic formula for getting a job. The best you can do is be active, stay with it and try and be "out there" in several different ways.

Hope that helps, I wish I could tell you one way that would just be perfect, but I can't.

Good luck and I'm here if you want to vent because I certainly understand your frustraion!
