I don't personally know ANYONE who actually likes Daylight Saving Time. So here's a petition to the White House to have it abolished. If it makes its signature goal, the White House must respond. There's no guarantee that they'll do anything, but at least we'll have their attention for 30 seconds or so.

Well, maybe I'm the odd man out... but I LIKE it! That is to say, I like it being Daylight Saving Time, but wish they'd go to that and leave it. That way in the winter instead of the sun going down at 5pm it can set at 6pm. :)

I mean, since you can't make all businesses go from 7-4pm, why not change the entire time?

I do hate the changing though, and I suspect that's what gets people.

That's the point of the petition, actually. It explicitly says "leave it one way or the other, but stop changing it." So yeah, leaving it Daylight Time all the time would be just fine as far as I'm concerned.

And I totally agree with that! This time change is just killing us! Well, not literally.. Except for when it is literally. :)

It can, in fact, literally kill you. Traffic fatalities spike on the Mondays following each time change.
