ConJecture/ConChord just released the programming schedule for the upcoming con (October 18th through 20th), and here is my schedule for it:

[EDIT: I'm no longer on the Turning Fandom Into Fame panel, as it's opposite the Kazoo Awards. Also, I'm now moderating the Concept Albums with SF Themes panel.]

I've been put on the schedule for six panels, including the RPG after combat panel. Of course, something about being able to mention that I talked to you, Eben, to get a professional's opinion on the cost (and value) of guitars FOR ONE OF MY RPG CAMPAIGNS might end up being a nice talking point...:-)

I'll try to be in the audience for that one. :)

Oh, shoot! The "Beyond Combat in Role-Playing Games" panel is opposite the Totally Tasteless and Tacky Review. That's a tough choice...

Given the choice, the "Totally Tasteless and Tacky Review" is likely going to be a LOT funnier...if a bit cruder...:-)

Kay will be at the TTTR, I will (obviously) be at Beyond Combat...

Yeah, I'll probably be at the TTTR. I mean, who else will help Allison sing "The Other Forester"?

I so want to come down for the SF Concepts Album panel Saturday night. I really, really want to find a way to make that happen.

Jus' sayin'

It would be great to have you there. I know you have better knowledge of early concept albums than I do. :)

Well, I dunno about that. However, someone has to be there to ask if anyone on the panel remembers the early Rolling Stones single, "10,000 Light Years from Home." (At least, I think that's the title, I may be wrong. It's been a long time since I listened to it.) It's psychedelic, and the years have not been kind to its memory.

:D
