I project my insecurities onto everyone I interact

Sigh, I hear that. I do that a lot, especially when I'm already feeling down, and it sucks that it's so insidious. For what it's worth, I can't imagine anyone knowing you and not liking you. You're funny and sweet and smart, and you're a good person to know. I think J&R and Nick would agree with me. *hug*

ugh, it's the worst. the problem is that it never goes away, it's just a million times worse when i'm depressed already. and, of course, the next day, i feel totally embarassed for posting this at all, but you are an awesome friend for replying to it. i'm so glad you're still around. *HUGS*

yeah, i need to do something! i've been applying outside the company too but there just aren't many openings in my field. mainly because there are like two companies that do this kind of research and i already work for one of them, haha. thanks for the vote of confidence, bb!

i wish you did too. we always have so much fun when we visit each other. i have to live in this condo for 2 more years or i have to pay the government back for that first time homebuyers credit thing, but i want to move somewhere else when that's up. like, my dream is to work abroad, but if i can't do that, DC is like my second fav city after chicago, so.
