Be careful in Bangalore, okay? Apparently, there's some unrest and dangerous things going on in certain parts of the city, so take care of yourself while you're there.
And Kanada is freaking hard to learn, just for the record.

will do. yeah, the team over there has been telling us about it. it's very shocking to them, but they're all okay. the part of the city the company is in hasn't had any issues. knock on wood.
i'll bet! i'm doing okay with hindi so far. well, at least in pronunciation. i haven't figured out the writing yet though. i think this has to do with the fact that i don't know how the letters connect and the keyboard helper in the computer program is, well, no help. what's kind of strange/funny is that now i'm realizing the names of the characters in the jungle book are anglicized versions of the hindi names for the animals. i am lame.

You have my sympathies because the writing is even more difficult than the pronunciation, Kanada and Hindi. It's why I failed them both every year for three years straight. About the only Hindi I know is Indian food. *hands*
And hee, yes, Anglicized versions of Mowgli and Bageera and Balu. I should read the Rudyard Kipling stories just because talking about The Jungle Book always makes me want to read them again.
