I'd LOVE to put that up but my sense of proprietary wouldn't let me. I could go with 'NO callers please' and keep it simple? Friends would know well enough to ignore it.

I think your average person who thinks they are coming round to visit a prostitute at 3am who saw a "No callers please" sign would assume it meant "please do not knock on my door at 9am, I have been up all night seeing clients" and go right ahead and knock on the door - a.k.a. I'm so awesome this notice telling me to go away couldn't possibly apply to me syndrome. How about "Previous tenant has moved out, I work for a COLLEGE, please don't knock at 3am"?

Have you reported this to the police as a link to your old report? Turning up once is a mistake, twice is dodgy. I would keep a log of callers to hand to the police, as it's not on that you're being disturbed in this way.
