Oh shit we meant to tell you about the glass roof in the conservatory... not that it should matter too much as you don't have it set up as a room....

It's reflective (to keep the heat in/out) but thus is also a bit mirrored. In the day you can see out, but others can't see in. However at night, you can't see out, you just see a big mirror reflected you and the light in the room, but other people CAN see in from outside - ie if next door have their teenage grandchildren staying in the back bedroom they'd be able to see in when the light's on at night...

Should have mentioned it earlier...

Oh, I can cope with that - it's got lots of solid walls ;)

Thanks, but don't worry about it. :)

sorry didn't meant to be anon! :)

Just looked at the architect link at the freaky buildings and this:
http://www.santambrogiomilano.it/ non skirt friendly shot! (assuming the right pic comes up).

I used to have nightmares about perfectly white minimalist type buildings, surgical precision, pure white, no humanity or Stuff. The pure white simplicity that could be heavenly but was actually hellish....

Glass houses are a bit freaky, but that's because of their voyeuristic/exhibitionist qualities as well as what a nightmare they'd be to deal with on a daily basis!

Wow! I complete forgot that I've watched that film when it came out. Thanks for the reminder.
Well, you certainly don't want to visit Solid State Logic HQ (the place where I work) then...
