A few years back, devalmont and I watched 13 Ghosts. It disturbed me. I mean, REALLY disturbed me. I couldn't watch it right through.
Now, I have a vivid imagination and it's one of the reasons I've to be careful what I read / watch / listen to when I'm sleepy. Things invade my head and keeping them in a reasonable place is hard when I'm on the ball but if I'm not, I've no chance. So if I'm ever near / around you and I say I can't watch something, it's not a wholesale 'I'll NEVER watch that', just a general 'can't cope with that right now. However, 13 Ghosts was something I really struggled with a few times, determined that I'd make it through and eventually I did.
What disturbed me about it wasn't the story, or the ghosts, or the horror aspect, at least in a traditional sense.
It was the house made of glass.

Practicalities aside (I'm clumsy therefore not good with corners, particularly not glass ones... they or I would break) (also, HOW MUCH WINDOW CLEANER WOULD YOU USE!) (and you'd never have proper privacy... these are definately dream homes for landowners with lots of space) (not to mention the price tags) (and you'd have to get used to being lit up all day and surrounded by dark all night etc) (oh, and nicknacks and pictures and things on walls.. not happening.. for the obscenely tidy only)...
...is anyone else completely freaked out by them?
And if so, why? I've no idea why they bother me so much, I just know that they do!
