I was thinking about this the other day... I've never had a straight male boss. Never. When I worked for couples as a babysitter, the mom was always really in charge. In high school the managers at my grocery store were both queer. Stone Belt- woman. Practicums- two women, one queer man. Ivy Tech- woman.
I feel really lucky to never have had the straight man boss experience.
