[Minato looked back at Souji. He could respect his decision. He also only hoped that Souji knew that he offered not because he forced himself to, but because he wanted to help. If there was anyone to check up on, it was his friends, Souji and his included. Especially them.]

[Souji nods and stands up finally with his sword in one hand.] I'll contact you later to let you know.

[Minato picked up his own sword and headed out of the room with Souji, parting ways with him.]

[Souji starts down the hall, then looks back over his shoulder.]

Minato.

[He hesitates, then raises a hand in parting. For a minute, he looks like his normal self.]

[Minato stopped, also turning around. He smiled a little, grateful for that, and nodded once to him.]
