I was never a good maker of TO-DO lists. What I love is TO-DONE lists.

What I wanted out of my gap year:

Travel to exotic places. No! Well. My friend Nicki and I went over to Japan in August but that was before my official gap year began. I planned on doing a TEFL course but...I am not cut out to be a teacher.

Sounds like a good 2009 thus far too (aside from car accident)! Must have been pretty awesome to take a year off. If I did, I'd probably never go back to school.

Yeah, it's not been bad save from that business! Lol, it always baffles non-Brits that we have gap years, they're really common here. You can either take a year for yourself before or after uni, which they particularly recommend for drama school to gain some experience of the miseries of the real world!
