I was informed by a member of staff in the Central Library that the library would be closed in the next few weeks for the redevelopment, at the mean time a small service centre will be open in the World Museum Liverpool next door. I said right without thinking too much about it: I just return the books and pay my outstanding fees in few weeks, that

It is supposed to close this Wednesday and will reopen two and a half years after that's after the London Olympics...

What a waste of £50 million!
