I just ate a hard-boiled egg, and it made a noise as I bit into it. Like a mournful squeaking. I think it was just the air escaping, but I am rattled by this. RATTLED.

I hate these fucking things. I'm talking about the shoe here - the closed-toed, open-backed monstrosity that is THE MULE. Do you hate them too? If you don't, you probably have never tried walking down stairs while wearing a pair. Or, really, doing any type of movement that involves lifting either of your feet off the ground. I bought Jaws on DVD last night and I started watching it at 7.30 this morning.

This is my fourth entry of 2009. I kind of didn’t realise it was so few. I am still here, though, and I read my friends list pretty regularly. Nothing’s really new.

I’m thinking of posting some pieces of writing here periodically. We’ll see.
