ahh go ricki! how wonderful that theres a celebrity out there whos willing to speak up for natural birth. i am 110% for birthing centers. the "new movement" ive been reading about, at least in the latest nursing journals, is that pregnancy is a WELLNESS state, not an ILLNESS and it should NOT be treated like one! and breastfeeding............. i really wish that more americans would accept that we are given breasts because we are supposed to feed our children with them. its disgusting to me that theyre solely seen as sex objects (though boob play is good, ill admit that) and not as nutritive organs!

i will def take into consideration the book youre recommending. i'd love to read it.

kudos to you girlie for standing up for what you believe in! there should be more moms like you out there!!!!!!! spread the good word.

Thank you! I mean I don't look down at those mothers that formula fed their children but I believe many more mothers out there would breast feed if they knew the facts!
