After some unhappy news yesterday I decided to cheer myself up with an art excursion.

I caught the ferry out to Cockatoo Island where a campus of the Sydney Biennale of Contemporary Art is underway. Now my usual strike rate for C'Art is about 10%. The rest is generally crap. This year's offerings stuck to formula but the exceptions were terrific. ( Read more... )

Just arrived home after several hours in transit from Christchurch surrounded by hyperactive pilgrims on their way to Mass today with the Poop.
