It just occured to me that the Democrats should not even nominate a candidate for the Presidency in 2008. The current President's Iraq "strategy" will put whoever is president in 2008 is a no-win situation. Thank god I closed the blinds. I was sitting alone in the living room licking/gnawing bits of Gruyere from the inside of an empty bowl of French Onion soup. It was feral. And then I picked a few strands from inside the cheese grater. I think I'm going to melt Gruyere on everything and see how it tastes.

I didn't realize how angry and shut down I've been for the last two years...until today. I took the day off from work - as I did after the 2004 elections, but then I just lay in bed watching tv depressed. I really disengaged from news and dialogue because it just made me so upset. Finally saw this week's Project Runway last night. Again, with the Angela and the Vincent. Both should be gone, and Vincent certainly should not have beaten out Uli or Michael.
