So my BF accidentally took my phone charger back to Michigan with him and my phone is dead. I walk up and down 2nd street and finally find sprint store. I buy phone charger and its freaking $40. Today it was beautiful out! 70 and sunny as most days are here. I went swimming outside and then Bob and me went to lunch and walk around the beach. I went swimming outside today during a tropical storm of sorts. I can honestly say I have never been swimming and looked up and thought “man I hope that palm tree does not fall on me.” I was pelted with leaves, wind, and rain. Today woke up to Earth Girls are Easy and watched that while drinking coffee. Then went swimming outside surrounded by palm trees and sunshine. Then went to Compton which is not nearly as bad as Detroit. Then to Beverly Hills where Bob saw a lot of cars he liked and cost over 300,000 dollars. So yesterday I discovered the joy of public transportation in Long Beach. Namely the bus system. To downtown LB only takes 20min from where I am but wow what a long 20 min! So I am moving to Los Angeles tomorrow. Hopefully I can find a job pretty quickly. Hopefully my car makes it out there too. In the meantime I am going to go to the beach.

I went to Speedway tonight and the slightly disheveled man in front of me in line bought $6 in scratch off tickets with pennies, nickels, and dimes….which he counted out very slowly for the only cashier working.
