So I am moving to Los Angeles tomorrow. Hopefully I can find a job pretty quickly. Hopefully my car makes it out there too. In the meantime I am going to go to the beach.
I've driven through LA a couple times. Just watch out for people with no turn signals in the far left lane wanting to get off at an exit they are currently passing. They will get off at that exit. Even if it costs you a fender.
Have a safe trip out to this side of the world. Make sure to check all the fluids and such on your car before leaving. And depending on which route you take, you may need to pick up tire chains once they become available. We don't use salt out here on the left coast. And it's generally law you have traction devices with you in the mountains. Like a $400 ticket around where I'm at. (you won't need them once you are there, but there be mountains to cross on the way and they are getting snow all the way down in Texas)
If you can keep up on road conditions on the way you may find they are perfectly clear and you won't need chains. Also they proly wont be checking to see if you have them with you. Save ya $50. Again all depends on how you go. You may have bare dry roads all the way. :)
im actually having my car shipped there after me....there is NO WAY my poor sunfire would make it across the country. you will have to let me know if your ever coming out that way so we can reminisce about killing puppies.
I deny everything that has to do with puppies....... :P
And let me know if you ever are gonna take a chance on a visit to the Portland. It's nice up here. I can show you around our dilapidated, puny (did I spell that right?), bitchy, but tight knit and friendly club scene. Show you guys Mt. Hood, Multnoma (I spelled that wrong too, drunk kinda) Falls, crap like that.
Summer is better, now it's all rain and idiots that don't know how to drive in it even though we get it 8 months out of the year. hehe
sweet. I live in Palm Springs right now, about 2 hours from L.A, but moving there soon. We'll have to find some clubs to fuck up together, like the old days. Blue Monday can be pretty cool, hmmmmmmm...
