Brain. Broken.

So here I am, starting again with this whole logging thing. And it is literally breaking my brain. Here I am, eating 2000 calories a day (not a challenging target/limit admittedly) and logging it and stuff... and of course building in a bit of deficit via exercise. Don't forget that netting under your BMR (1450 ish?) will make it difficult to lose weight. I've been * really* impressed with your dedication too logging on NFL. I hope you start too see results.

I need to make sure I can stick to the 2000 before I start monkeying with it, I think. Finding it hard this weekend! Once more unto the breach on Monday :D It's April when I start playing with it more - I just need to learn to trust the maths. At the moment, I just don't, which I admit is breaking my brain a LOT.

Oh, should have mentioned - my BMR is in the 1700-ish range. I'm 195lbs or so, and around 26% body fat (possibly slightly less since I was last measured a few months ago now), so have a fair amount of lean muscle mass on me! :D

Well done for staying with it even when your brain is not believing it. I'm currently 27% BF or thereabouts, but i do get a range depending on which calculator I use. The best guide to tdee etc is experimentation,, which is exactly what you're doing. :-)
