So here I am, starting again with this whole logging thing. And it is literally breaking my brain. Here I am, eating 2000 calories a day (not a challenging target/limit admittedly) and logging it and stuff... and of course building in a bit of deficit via exercise. And if I'm honest my normal daily caloric burn on a week day is around 2100 calories according to Mr FitBit.
So theoretically, I'm building in a 6-800 deficit every day that I train. Theoretically, MFP is telling me my weight should go down. And I just Don't. Believe. It.
I've never had to force myself to stick on a programme because it wasn't believable anymore. I'm well out of my comfort zone with this one, haha. Hopefully lots of shopping and being out and about tomorrow (plus hopefully a 6-9km run) will keep me on the straightish and narrowish.
Challenges at the moment:
1. Getting the protein/fat/carbs ratio right (I think I've got some ideas, but need to think how I'm going to manage moving forwards
2. Not eating a pile of junk because 'the calories are there to be used'
3. Saying 'no' to all the biscuits and crap that gets brought into the office. Actually said 'no' to a Pippin donut today (and they are AWESOME and far better than Krispy Kreme...)
