Another thing that I love: playing with the best friend’s little brother thing. It saddens me greatly that the show has not yet exploited this in any meaningful fashion. IT IS RIGHT THERE. USE IT.

YES! I think that dynamic is a huge part of their draw for me, but THEY'RE NOT USING IT!

Reason #5011 that I love them: How much they smile when they’re around each other. Hence this bit. They both have such pretty smiles. I like getting to see them.

Oooh yes! I love ships that smile! I was rewatching some Greek today and it had a Cappie/Casey scenes that's probably mostly great because of the way they smile at each other!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY'RE NOT USING IT! Isn't that like, screen-writing 101? Hell, they played with it on DC with Dawson and Gretchen! And how weirded how by it Pacey was. So I know DW knows how. They need to step up their game.

I think it's especially great with B/J because neither of them are particularly smiley characters to begin with, but they just light the fuck up whenever they get around each other and it makes my heart sing.

Seriously, there is so much easy material there for the picking and they haven't used any of it yet. I am sort of hopeful, though, just based on an interview I read. They can't not use the Elena thing. It would be wrong.

They really have such a different vibe than any other couple or potential couple on the show. Elena and Stefan have it sometimes, but it's always overshadowed and there was always a layer of sadness over Matt and Caroline, even in their cute phase, but Bonnie and Jeremy don't have that. Man, I need them to makeout already.
