The way you cut through Cook's million winding thought and all the ~emotions he always has swirling through his brain is just excellent. I LOVED this. I liked the simple, quiet interaction with Neal and the mentions of Andrew and just WOW. Pieces that take place in these guys' heads are kind of my favorite.

This is so beautiful and heartbreaking and just feels me with all of these very sad feelings, that, strangely enough, I kind of like being filled with. You did such a great job with this that I can hardly leave you any coherent feedback. Your David voice is excellent and just seems to be the most perfect thing. And the heartbreak he feels really resonates and I just want to give him a hug (even if he doesn't want one).

Also, when I heard Carrie was engaged I was so, so happy for her, and then I was kind of sad, and that is your fault. So. Thank you for writing this to make that up to me, when two months ago I would have just been happy.
