Oh, I really want to go to Belgium. I will get there one day. What language did you grow up with? I am just curious because your English is incredible. I would assume you are a native.
Ooh yes, I think you would really like Belgium, it is fully of little winding steets and special bars and coffee shops and interesting people <3 I miss it so much, my heart is there.
I moved to Belgium when I was three and picked up French pretty fast because I was so young and was at a french speaking school but I was actually born in England and spoke English at home which is why my English is good :-) I learnt to write in French first though and so sometimes I make odd french-influenced spelling errors.
I really want to learn dutch which is the other main language of Belgium. I took dutch lessons in primary school but it never really stuck.
Do you speak Danish? Did you grow up with any other languages?
It sounds like a place I would love! I didn't grow up with any other languages, unfortunately. I grew up in Kentucky and there people only know American English or slight varieties there of
