Jensen thought that maybe picking up a girl at a Halloween party wasn’t such a good idea, especially when she was wearing a mask that made her unidentifiable. He got it off her in the bedroom they stumbled into while they were making out, but the lights were off and neither of them could find a light switch. He just knew that this girl was gorgeous with her gold dress and ruby facemask, hair a wild red.
She was supposed to be a goddess of some kind, she mentioned being a Classics major with a taste for Greek mythology, but they didn’t exchange names before Jensen brushed light fingers down her arm, shimmering with gold dust, and murmured, Do you want to… and glanced towards the hallway leading towards Mike’s guest bedroom.
They were both drunk and stupid with lust, but Jensen managed to make her come twice with his mouth and fingers, eyes closed against the darkness, before finding a condom and slipping into her. She was tight, eager and wanting, and Jensen kissed her as he fucked her, one hand cupping her breast, the other sliding down to toy at her clit. He barely lasted past her third orgasm, gasping wordlessly as he filled the condom.
He barely remembered throwing it away before he passed out. When he woke up, she was gone.

Jensen really tries not to be absolutely pathetic about what happened at Mike's Halloween party, but he can't forget about how much he enjoyed spending time with the gorgeous Greek goddess. And not just in bed. He liked talking to her too, about their classes and interests, their futures…
Okay, so he's being pretty pathetic about it, but he doesn’t realize how bad it is until he wakes up from a dream about them just laying in the grass, watching the stars and holding hands. He wasn't able to turn his head and see her, but he could smell the same sweet perfume she'd been wearing at the party.
He hasn't washed the black button down he wore to the party - he and Misha were mobsters, though Jensen had lost his fedora about an hour into the party so he just looked like a normal guy - and when he picks it up and shakes it out, gold dust gets all over his bed. Jensen finds he doesn't mind much and just sets the shirt back down. He doesn't need to do laundry quite yet.
Jensen sighs. He needs to get over this nameless, faceless girl before he loses his man card or something.
Except then he sees her. Her face isn't visible, but he recognizes that red hair and that amazing body even from across the quad. She's talking to some guy who's tall and almost as hot as she is. She kisses the guy on the cheek and hugs him before walking away. Right towards Jensen.
He doesn't know what to do. Was that her boyfriend? Jensen doesn't want to believe that because it makes him sick to his stomach, the fact that he might have played a part in her cheating on that guy - that this woman he thought was perfection would cheat on her boyfriend - but she's coming right towards him and she knows his face.
As she gets closer, Jensen's breath catches. Her face is just as beautiful as the rest of her. He feels his face heat as her eyes find him and recognition lights up her face.
"Well, hi there," she says, stopping in front of him and smiling in a way that makes Jensen goes even redder.
"Um. Hi," Jensen says stupidly. "Uh. I'm Jensen."
"Danneel," she says, holding out her hand. Both of Jensen's are full of notebooks and textbooks because his bag ripped yesterday, and he has a moment of spectacular failure when he drops everything on the ground.
He's never been this awkward around a girl in his life.
She lets out a quiet laugh as she helps him pick everything up. "Are you always this graceful when you're sober?"
"Um," Jensen says. His face feels like it's on fire. "Sorry, I'm just. I wasn't expecting to see you. Ever." He realizes how that sounds and wants to smack himself. "I mean, uh. I wanted to see you again. Really badly. I just didn't think I would, 'cause it's a big campus and I didn't even know your name…"
Danneel presses two fingers over his mouth, grinning at him. Jensen shuts up. "I know what you meant. I've been feeling the same way. I would have stayed, but my friend Jared was having boy issues and I had to rush out."
"Oh," Jensen says. He ducks his head, rubbing the back of his neck. "So you're…definitely single?"
Danneel snorts. "You think I would have slept with you if I had a boyfriend?"
Jensen feels like even more of an idiot now. "No, no, I just…you…and that guy, I…" He shuts himself up this time. She's trying not to laugh at him.
"That was Jared. He's pretty much flaming." She shrugs. "And I'm single."
Jensen looks at the sky for a moment, thanking God for all that's happened in the last five minutes. Then he takes a deep breath and smiles at her.
"Are you free on Friday night? My friend Steve's band is playing at this bar…"
Danneel leans forward and kisses him lightly. "Sounds perfect. Why don't I give you my number, Jensen, and you can call me later."
"That would be great," he says.
She punches her number into his phone and kisses his cheek lightly. "I'll talk to you later, cutie." Danneel walks away and Jensen watches her go, a huge smile on his face.
When he gets back to his room, he grabs his laundry basket, including his black shirt, and washes it all. He thinks maybe he'll wear the shirt to the bar on Friday. And maybe he'll bring Danneel back with him and they'll fuck with the lights on this time.
