It's been raining here a good part of the day so far. I've taken lots of pictures, but they are all on my camera, so no way to post them until I get home. Except I did take another during the rain a little bit ago from the back door.

I like your dreamy photo. I'm glad that you are spending time with Laurie. I am sure that she will love her bird feeder. That's exactly what I have outside my kitchen window. I saw a cardinal today and titmice.

I think she will love seeing them, too. Whenever she is around me for any length of time I think I bring out the hidden bird lover in her. 😊

I heard about the fires and was surprised. I thought it was too late in the season. How wrong I was!

We have also been in a drought in Florida with no rain for almost three months now. Our winters are normally kind of dry though.

No rain for three months! That would be a nightmare in summer here! Although we had no rain for four months before the Big rains started last time (2011).
